I forget how much I really like the menu there! There are many options to choose from.
We are always scrambling to get to football on time on Saturday mornings. It starts at 9:00 a.m., but because everybody in our home sleeps till 7:00 and enjoys a lazy breakfast, I always look at the clock at 8:30 in a panic! Cue the whole wheat English muffin with butter and coffee before jetting out the door!

On Friday night we were happy to hang around at home and snuggle. Once Mazen was asleep (he actually did an early dinner with Matt), Thomas and I made this DELICIOUS Blue Apron meal of fried catfish with roasted squash and kale. Plus pumpkin beer of the season! : )
This past weekend was busy and lovely, and all around the city. It was wonderful!
The post-game team bash was held at the Stone Mountain Vineyards. The view!! You could see the field we played on in the V of the mountains there.
Sunday
The drive is well worth it as soon as you’re there, but once I have really lost so I have memories of the drive. Our game was great, however, and we beat the Honeybadgers 4:1!
Rosé — last taste of summer?
Say CHEESE!
Hope you guys had a wonderful weekend. What did you do?
I mixed a bit of Good Culture Cottage Cheese in, including the pineapple topping (which is exactly what you see on top), plus almond butter!
We ordered the ham biscuits and autumn empanadas to talk about, and Mazen had a burger. Those fries were seasoned and soooo crispy!
Saturday night we biked downtown and had dinner at Commonwealth.
Britt and I shared with this baguette and cheese plate. The bread was HOT, and that goat cheese was spiked with raspberry preserves. We had only burned 1,000 calories (according to my watch) and I devoured this!
^^One week ago on Sunday!
We were on time! It was a beautiful morning.
Late afternoon we rested on the deck while Mazen and the neighbors played with a wagon game for over and hour.
For dinner I was crushing hard on this butternut squash bisque. If I’m remembering right, it was vegan, and I think it must have been made with coconut milk since it was super creamy, thick, and the sweetness. I would like to return and have it! T got jerk chicken which was Caribbean spiced and also good.
We headed home to finish up some home work and then packed up to head to Bodos for lunch to go and then Random Row to watch the UVA v Duke football game. I received a Cleo salad with smoked salmon and had two beers!

When compared with the last one, we had a pretty low-key family and sports-filled weekend.
