Friday

On Friday night I went out with two girlfriends to Lampo!

It was a miracle that everyone was bathed and asleep by 8 p.m. or so. Truly. I had my leftovers from lunch and watched Big Little Lies!

I was stuffed after this lunch!

Saturday

We had all the usuals: kale salad, marinated olives, Prosciutto pizza, and some meat balls, and the mushroom pizza.
On Saturday morning I went into the gym for a session and then got dressed up to visit a baby shower for my friend Jess who is expecting #3 this fall! It was great to catch up with the mother crew. Now that most of our kids are in school, we do not see quite as much of each other.
Gus would not settle down and waited up for Thomas all evening. Poor man missed him too!

I was up bright and early for Saturday AM breakfast. The cheese was a wonderful addition!

Sunday

I’m looking forward to the week ahead, and for this week to start! Thomas was off on a bachelor trip this weekend, so it was really quiet around the house… except for when it was full of children!

Sunday afternoon was spent on the soccer field, as I had games, and Sunday evening I was glad to reconnect with this man!
When he arrived home, we spent some time beating on a few levels together and getting all sweaty and relaxing and playing outdoors.
We had muffins with fruit that Sarah left for us, and then led to ACAC for playtime for the kids and a shower and a little work time for me. I had oats for breakfast while I was there.

I had a spinach salad and butternut squash soup with salmon and grilled goat cheese, and a pistachio cake my friend Sarah made, along with a taste of dessert snacks!
Images weren’t captured by me except for this one of them eating their salad path before I brought out a yummy pizza. But they still had enough room. Sylvia looks thrilled, does not she?!

…I forgot to knock on wood since Mazen and Sylvia got up for the day at FOUR FORTY FIVE AM! Thankfully, they didn’t wake up Sawyer, who slept until 6:30 a.m., but it was still quite the long morning.
