The Albarossa grape has a background that winds nearly as much as the streets throughout the Piedmont hillsides, and in its own inimitable, roundabout way ended up achieving what its creator set out to accomplish that he intended. All of that is just so adorably of Monferrato.
For my latest installment over at MyNameIsBarbera.com, we proceed in-depth on Incrocio Dalmasso XV-31, better called Albarossa… as in Red Dawn… WOLVERINES!!!
