Have a fantastic weekend, friends!
Our third date was a meet-up at T’s house to watch the very first Game Of Thrones episode. And the rest, as they say, is history. We both admitted we were waiting for red flags, but as time went on, they never appeared. Everything about our relationship has felt easy-going and so natural from the beginning.
You can order the dinner menu down there, so it is a great way to enjoy the menu in a casual setting.
Sparklers are always involved too.

Turned out I had chocolate all over my face once we went back indoors!
I believe this was our first photo taken a couple of weeks later when I was T’s date into a buddy’s wedding.
So Saturday night we reenacted the flame pit with Mazen.
I was responsible for the s amores!
This past weekend Thomas and I decided to re-live our first and second dates.
He got there first and was wearing a blue pin stripe button down (still my favorite shirt of his!) and jeans. I had on jeans, Tom’s boots, and a Stitch Fix blouse! I walked there, so I was a couple of minutes late, and when I spotted him I said, “You look like the guy I’m supposed to be meeting!” We were both smitten from the start, and I don’t recall how long we talked. He said he could not await the next one and gave me a ride home in his truck.
We could not be happier! <3
The C&O bar is so special to us! It is romantic and rustic and tucked into the basement of one of Cville’s finest dining establishments.
Our first date was on a Tuesday, and I encouraged T over that Friday night and s amores. He came looking ready and fine to construct a fire! We talked for hours, about football, iPhones, music, and growing up in Charlottesville.
It’s hard to believe our own is coming up so quickly. I didn’t share pictures from our first two or three seasons but here is a bunch!
This past weekend we had duck gnocchi, and the carrot, which was great!
My entrée was rockfish over grits with greens and pesto, plus roasted corn to share!
Mazen LOVES fire pit nights, and he likes to take responsibility for the tasks. He wore Thomas’s headlamp and gave us all instructions about the best way to get things.
