This trend that is next is not for the faint of heart: Pops of cobalt, fuchsia, and yellow have been making their way and to department stores. Do not worry, you don’t have to completely change your closet into every color of the rainbow. Pick for a brighter accessory, invoice jewelry, or layer a cardigan.
We are no stranger to this category on LaurenConrad.com, so I think I can speak for all of us when I say that we love a fantastic shimmer and shine. From head to toe, there’s no wrong way to incorporate metallics. From lux midi skirts to shiny shoes and even handbags, ’tis the season to sparkle.

Fall fashion is taking a tip this year. Blazers, button ups, and oversized trench coats are taking centre stage. Consider opting for more long line pieces that tone it down, but still give your outfit a fashion element while everything is exaggerated on the runway.

Which one of those fall trends are you considering making your own?
4. Loud Patterns
While this trend may have been as hot as the summer we just had, I’m delighted to say that we will see embroidery into fall. It’s time to replace tops that are off-the-shoulder and these embroidered shorts with jackets, embellished denim, and shoes. Some of my pieces have to be embroidered event dresses and mules like the ones I’ve selected below.
As long as I can remember I have scoured the pages of magazines like Vogue’s September issue for recaps on runway shows, fashion inspiration, and the season beauty tips. I’ll admit, it took me a while to comprehend how to interpret the trends walking down the runway . At the time, create these appearances my own and it was over my head to take my interpretation. Now that I’ve done some exploring and climbing since my teenage days, I always look forward to pulling elements. Whether it’s a makeup appearance, pattern or texture, or specific thing, there are truly endless ways to wear Fashion Week‘s biggest trends in actual life.
Here at Team LC, the only fur we’ll be donning this autumn and winter is faux fur. From heavy coats to fur slides and tassel charms for your handbag, a furry embellishment will get you far this year. Plus, there’s no better way to compliment holiday party dresses (not that I’m likely outfits already or anything…).
Very similar to bold colours, don’t be afraid to rock a pattern (or two!) This season. After all, print mixing is as popular as ever, on and off the runway. Fall florals, animal prints that are wild, and plaid are making a splash. For consider locating a patterned piece that you love and pair it.

Having just returned from my first New York Fashion Week, I’ve finally had a moment to breathe in and take some deep notes in regards to being backstage and at the runway shows. The artistry that goes into every collection is unreal, and I have a feeling I’ll be on a treasure hunt trying to find the perfect real way pieces to incorporate into my fall wardrobe (can you say Style Steals?) . Since autumn fashion inspiration was handed during spring’s Fashion Week, I dove back in and pulled six of the year’s hottest trends and reworked them into something we can wear. Below you’ll find everything to this season’s most silhouettes from colours that are bold and textures. Keep scrolling to see what trends made the list…
