There was a cover charge for the afternoon, but we felt it was worth it to have the most comfy double chair and quiet.
For our last night they made us a Baked Alaska that was not on the menu!
Back on our boat, it was HOT. We needed to lather up whatsoever and thus had no shade. the. sunscreen.
We ate Crown Grill twice we liked it so much! The ambiance was great, and we loved the menu.
The salads goat cheese and olives.
I loved my Filet Mignon, which I had with a baked potato and asparagus. They also provided a trio of fancy salts to use with your meal, and the smoked salt was so good I wish to get some here in the city.

Our guide, Pepe, surprised us with a cute bento box guac and full of snacks — chips and cilantro grilled shrimp! It was early, but this tasted great for a breakfast that is yummy.
Lest you think that we didn’t exercise the entire trip, we did! A nice workout room was with a number of bikes, ellipticals and treadmills, all with incredible viewpoints that are bow-side! I did three different work outs, which were much needed!
We booked all of our excursions through Princess Cruises, and they had some wonderful recommendations. We chose a Luxury Day Sail.
I wish we had had the entire afternoon to explore Cabo!
We boarded a sailboat and hugged the coastline through the Sea of Cortés.
I don’t quite have the sea legs that T does. The waves were too rough for me to endure when I attempted to paddleboard.
Dressed up for another dinner!
When lunch was served so we were happy! Look at this awesome feast! Chicken salad, fruit salad, ceviche, tuna tomatoes, pasta salad rolls, brownies. Everything tasted refreshing. Also: there was an open bar! I had a few Mai Tais
We’d arrived at Cabo during the night, so our trip began in the morning. We were only in Cabo until 1:00pm because we had to cruise all the way back to Los Angeles in only 1 day.
Once we were back to the Ruby Princess, we spent the afternoon at The Sanctuary, which is an extension of the spa and a outdoor lounge area.
Again, the scenery was just stunning!
In contrast — LOL!
We also got m a s s a g e s while on board at the spa! My masseuse was from Thailand, and she was amazing.
On our return trip, they raised the sails, and when the boat tipped to a vertical angle we had to hold on for dear life. We were soaked in the waves! It was a blast, and the highlight of the entire trip for me!
We had such a great trip overall, and I felt that we covered so much ground — from sitting and doing nothing to eating a vast array of great food, to adventuring across the Mexican coast to watching shows, visiting the Casino, and more. We were never bored! I’ve always enjoyed cruising — I love the coziness of everybody being the ocean views, on a single ship, the convenience of seeing ports from 1 room, and the amusement. I would love to take Mazen on a cruise time! I loved it when I was young, and I know he will too! <3
Dessert during our visit was a sampler!
We went while on board to a dance party to the Marriage Match game. During a cruise I went on when I was a teen, I always wanted to participate as a newlywed in one of the marriage games. …But Thomas said “no thank you, not in a million years.” We laughed rather and watched! Comedian, the series dancers, and magicians were all great!
This lobster cake with herb foam was good! I like anything in the foam family of texture : )
Our destination was this cove snorkeling, and paddleboarding.
Late afternoon tea time treats!
