Pick a color scheme.
Here at Team LC, we have deemed our 2017 motto to be “more is more.” That having been said, festive elements were added by us until we believed that our set up was complete. For us that meant amounts of some fall foliage, pumpkins, our libations as well as two or a treat.
It might sound surprising, but there’s more rhyme and reason to this set meets the eye. At our latest photoshoot, we had our friends Rachel of Bonjour Fête and Royale of But First, Party! Give us a few helpful tips and do a little rearranging to create the perfect Halloween vignette. We even recycled some of the décor that we used in our Halloween mantle makeover in this post. From rose gold dripped pumpkins to adding a little texture with velvet accents and pops of jewel tones, this pub cart is looking ready for a fall soiree. If you would like to replicate a similar pub cart in your own house, keep scrolling to hear what Rachel and Royale had to say about staging the great spooky scene…

Tell us your thoughts!
If you took a peek at this post, you understand that we are using a very jewel toned Halloween this year on LaurenConrad.com. One way to set the mood for your pub cart is to select on a color scheme and run with it. We loved the velvet of the cloth that was orange pumpkins and made sure to include even more retro-inspired colors. Don’t get us wrong, we love a black and orange Halloween, but veering off of the beaten path has never looked so chic.
When it comes to decorating throughout the year, we are no strangers to making our houses as festive. Consider us overzealous, but we just can’t help ourselves when it comes to observing. This time of year is generally about spider webs, dim lights, and porches. This Halloween we decided to extend our festive decorations to include all corners of our houses, including an adorably spooky mantle followed by this frighteningly cute bar cart spectacle.
How would you decorate your bar cart?

Always make sure you play with height when aiming for a imperfect set up. For our pub cart featured previously, Rachel and Royale recommended stacking pumpkins and placing some tasty treats to give a little more dimension. No pub cart is complete without libations, so this scene called for a few mismatched bottles that added to the Halloween aesthetic.
