Hocus Pocus: Homemade Halloween Lollipops
1. Spray your lollipop molds with nonstick spray. If using the gold stars, then sprinkle a few into each mold cavity.
We do not know about you, but this time of year makes our sweet tooth going than usual. We blame our childhood memories of indulging and trick-or-treating in our loot, of course for it. But now we’re on the other side of the tradition and that we are all grown up, we love coming up with new and creative sweet treats to function to kiddos in their costumes this season. These star-struck and glittery sweets not just taste great, but you can make them in any color you want and decorate them using a bit of shimmer. Additionally, making homemade candy is just the perfect way to spend the upcoming autumn evenings leading up to Halloween (with the fireplace on and a PSL in hand, of course). Here’s the way to create your own batch of homemade lollipops this season…
2. Put sugar, the water, and corn syrup in a small pot set over medium heat. Whisk to combine and allow the mixture come to a boil. Make sure not to whisk or stir the mixture again. Set into the sugar mixture, and let boil until the temperature reaches 290 degrees.
5. Out my catching them after the lollipops have hardened, you can pop them.
6. If you did not add the glitter into the melted sugar mixture you can sprinkle a little bit of disco dust.

4. Working quickly, pour the sugar mixture into each mould and top each with a rod. Make sure so the sugar mixture does not harden on you that you work quickly. If it does harden, you can place it back onto a very low heat until melted again.

Ingredients:3. Take the heat off and add in your extract of food and choice coloring. Note: I added quite a few drops of food coloring for them to a dark autumn shade. If you would like glitter inside the pops, then sprinkle a little bit of disco dust in now.
**If you would like to create your pops a tad healthier, make them with tapioca syrup or honey instead of corn syrup. Should you use honey, remember it will flavor your pops and is a flavor.Instructions:
