After dinner came toasts from Thomas’s brother and Sarah. My sister chose to let Sarah do the talking and passed the torch on to her for the day. Both of their toasts had us all laughing through tears and were personal and heartfelt.

Each place also had a custom napkin I ordered from the Dot and Army Etsy shop. They spanned five unique patterns. They make us a terrific keepsake too.
Our tables were dressed by our florist, Sandy Goodson of Verde Natural Florals.

Thomas gave a toast to kick off the dinner. As always, he made everybody laugh.

Dinner began with pears, ricotta, and arugula.
I bought the pilar candles and stuffed votives on Amazon. The place cards matched our invitations and were from Minted.

There were twin highchairs for the two infant Emersons who attended our wedding! They were the queens of the evening.
The main course was served family style, which is my favourite type of food services! Everyone was seated and served together, yet there were options. We had shrimp and grits and pork tenderloin as our two entrees. Both came mushroom risotto and red grits, plus roasted veggies and potatoes. We thought the food tasted delicious, and I loved the grits!
Burlap table runners and the lanterns were loaned to us by our friends Erin and Ben in their wedding!
I used the vintage pitcher collection of my grandmother for the floral arrangements, along with the cheese boxes that grandmother and my mother passed down over the years to me.
